Young Adults

Daystar is committed to leaving a legacy in the Kingdom and in our community…and young adults play a large part in that. Often, when God wants to change the world, He taps on the shoulder of a young person and asks, “How about you?” That’s how Pastor Allen personally got started in ministry, and that is how every ministry at Daystar Church has been started. As young adults are transformed by Jesus and are encouraged to live out their purpose, they are uniquely positioned to change the world!

A key component to this is finding belonging in a community. We have been intentional in creating environments that allow young adults to get connected at Daystar Church. Daystar offers several different ministries and small groups for young adults. A few of those are listed below. Daystar College Ministry

Sundays and week nights

Meets at the Downtown Campus and varying locations

We want students to be connected on the weekend and during the week. On the weekend, students attend one of our Sunday worship experiences. During the week, they get connected with one of our Daystar College Ministry small groups where they'll connect with other students and young professionals, as well as study the bible through engaging discussion.

Thrive is a ministry designed specifically for young singles (20 and 30 somethings). Tuesday nights consist of a large group gathering with worship and relevant teaching, followed by small group breakouts where relationships can deepen. Married without Kids

Thursdays at 7:00pm

Marriage is wonderful and rewarding, but at the same time it can be challenging and complicated. Being in community with other couples is important. We have multiple small groups designed to help young married couples. For example, "Making Marriage Better" small groups are focused on topics designed to help you build a successful and long-lasting marriage, by addressing common problems and solutions.
